Now that our kitchen remodel is wrapped up, it felt like a good time for a (long overdue) video house tour. Our last one was nearly three years ago (you can watch it here) and there really wasn’t much progress to be seen, considering it was shot just seven months after we moved in (you can watch the “before” house tour here). But now that our first floor is looking almost unrecognizable from that “before” video, we figured it was time to break out the video camera and walk around the house using our tried & true method of John-films-while-I-chat-your-ear-off. Bonus points for anyone who can find the two frames proudly displaying a sideways stock photo of a stranger (we have some family pics on order, but for now that girl in the hat makes us laugh).

And let’s not forget the upstairs, which isn’t quite as finished as the first floor. As you’ll hear in the video, we’ve still got two bathroom renovations on our to-do list (our master bathroom = hoooo boy), along with some simpler updates, like finishing an in-progress wall in our daughter’s room. Also, sorry for the weird dark lines that appear when shooting the hall bath. Apparently, our camera didn’t like the lighting in there.
