*** This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
We’ve got two names to announce as the random winners this week and they are… Eileen Marie (who lives on the edge by teaching on the “mean streets of Chicago”) and Kristin M (who is the mom to a “crazy 2 year old” – which is a life on the edge that we can relate to). Congrats ladies! And for everyone else, Cutting Edge Stencils added a 20% discount code – YHL20 – that’s good through Sunday. Sweet!
Who wants to jump on the wall stencil bandwagon with us (remember when Sherry spent 14 hours stenciling our office last October? Well how does a $50 nudge sound? Because the folks at Cutting Edge Stencils are gonna give two of you a gift card that’ll cover just about any stencil in their catalog – from florals and geometrics to damasks and graphic shapes. They’ve even got a new collection of stencils created by Design Star winner Kim Myles (we especially love her gingko leaf design on the right). And is the one on the top left giving anyone else Jeff Lewis vibes?
- PRIZE: $50 to Cutting Edge Stencils
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “EDGE ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how you live life on the edge. I ask this somewhat sarcastically since life on the edge for us usually includes eating a second dessert or negotiating a good yard sale deal. But if you’ve really done (or regularly do) something thrilling or outrageous, we’d love to hear about it.
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, June 6th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: 20% off with code YHL20 through 6/17
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Cutting Edge Stencils.
Edge me!
Edge Me! The most on the edge thing I’ve done in a while is riding a roller coaster. And I stil don’t like them.
EDGE ME! I have not done anything on the edge since becoming a mom 2 1/2 years ago……if only my 20’s could talk though!
EDGE ME!
Dying to start stenciling!
EDGE ME!
I’m pretty tame, but I plan to book a hot air balloon flight soon. It’s something I’ve always been both excited and terrified to do.
EDGE ME!
EDGE ME! I live life far away from the edge, and I’m perfectly comfortable there!
EDGE ME! I have yet to do anything I would consider on the edge, but I do have skydiving on my bucket list!
EDGE ME! Living life on the edge in upstate NY. Recently we just started a blog to document our adventures in turning an old aparment house (built in the late 1800’s) back into a single family home. EXCITING!!!!
edge me!
EDGE ME! We’re pretty boring… living on the edge for us probably is still trusting and driving our car that has over 300,000 miles on it!
What kinda car do you have?
A 1995 Lexus ES300 – it’s been amazing, but I’m sure it will crap out soon. :)
edge me!
EDGE ME!
Running a marathon 4.5 months pregnant is living on the edge for me!

“EDGE ME!” I only wish I was edgy.
EDGE ME! Hmmm apparently my idea of living life on the edge is deciding to refinish my bedroom hardwood floors all by my lonesome. I did and they’re awesome. Hey, I like to live dangerously.
EDGE ME! I’m planning to edge my patio, so this is perfect timing.
As for living on the edge, I went skydiving for my 30th birthday last June. It was so much fun!
I’m going rock climbing this summer–I guess that’s literally on the edge:)
EDGE ME! I live an utterly un-thrilling life, so I don’t have anything good to tell you. I love Cutting Edge stencils though!!
EDGE ME!
Life on the edge for me is going over the border for shopping trips!
EDGE ME! I work at a bank, but my husband is a rockstar.
Edge Me! I’m living on the edge when I stay up past 10:00 on a work night =)

Great idea, Emily!
Edge me!
Like you, we don’t live life much on the edge either since we have a 2 year old! We love local music and try to hire a babysitter and get out for date nights often to go check out local bands!
EDGE ME!
EDGE ME!
I rarely live life on the edge. Today I am having a non-diet Coke so we will go with that as my answer!
Edge me! The most thrilling thing I’ve probably ever done is go backpacking by myself for a week in England. A great way to get to know yourself and meet crazy people.
Edge me! I’ an avid rock climber. Like wear a harness and climb big walls. ;)
Edge me!
EDGE ME! I am not an edge dweller. I am a play it safe kind of gal.

EDGE ME!! I live life on the edge by having 3 boys (not including my husband!) and homeschooling them and looking forward to a 4th baby (eventually). It’s all pretty exciting and crazy and hectic and wonderful and insane. But that’s how we roll-in crazytown! :)
EDGE ME!
I live on the edge when I get in this old, unstable elevator that I have to use each day. Scary!
EDGE ME!
We move every 2-3 years – next up – Moscow in 2 months and between the husband and I we can speak 5 words of Russian. Feels like living on the crazy edge to me! EDGE ME
