Fab Freebie: Sherry’s Birthday Wish

You guys shut this puppy down with 10,000 entries in less than a day. Wow! So we’ve already selected our random winner. She is… Rhonda (who thinks she’s gonna ask for a juicer – to go along with her Christmas blender). Congrats!

Tomorrow is Sherry’s 31st birthday. So a few weeks ago I asked her if she wanted to do anything special giveaway-wise to celebrate. She looked dreamily towards the sky, a smile spread across her face, and she said “I want to do a Jonathan Adler giveaway and I want a picture of him holding ceramic animals and grinning like a fool. Because we are kindred spirits. That would pretty much make my year.”

A week later this photo appeared in my inbox:

The girl wanted a Jonathan Adler giveaway (you can read more about her love of the guy here) and the girl got it. The wonderfully cheerful people of Jonathan Adler were completely down with the idea (and the ceramic-animal-centric photo, apparently) so they’ve offered up a whopping $500 for one lucky winner to spend on whatever they’d like – animal or otherwise. Beyond obsessing over his white ceramic creatures, Sherry shares his love of poppy patterns, colorful accents, and chic accessories that don’t take themselves too seriously. So, um, happy birthday to one of you!

    Birthday Me!

    A perfect birthday for me would be to come up with a huge menu for friends, have my boyfriend do all the grocery shopping. I get to do all the cooking and then invite friends over for a huge meal and Par-tay! then they get to do all the clean up! Cooking + no cleaning = sounds perfect to me!

    BIRTHDAY ME!
    I just had a birthday (on the 5th) and I am that person in your life that is impossible to shop for because even I cannot think of a gift for myself.
    But if I had to ask for one thing, it would be a weekend away just the hubs and I. He travels all the time, so some alone time away from the kid and dog would be awesome.

    Birthday Me!
    About 9 months ago we bought our first home…however it had to be completely gutted in order to be lived in, so we have yet to live in it. It has been a fun adventure renovating our first home, but I am definitely ready to be living in it and to see our two little girls running around in it. So for my birthday this year I hope that we will be living in our home enjoying the day with my sweet family.

    BIRTHDAY ME! Happy Birthday Sherry! My birthday is at the end of the month and I think I’m going to celebrate with a birthday brunch. I love making breakfast…waffles, bacon, sausage, omelettes, toast, coffee, mimosas and good friends… can’t get much better.

    Birthday me….my next birthday is one I have been waiting for for a long, long time. I turn 62 and can officially draw my social security.     Birthday me! My birthday is coming up in May. We just moved from Manhattan to Aspen CO and I think a birthday hike to the top of a mountain with a group of friends would be appropriate (with cake of course!)

    I just celebrated my 24th birthday in February, but for my 25th birthday I would love to get away with my little family. We rarely take vacations and making memories with my husband and our two little girls is the best gift ever!
