Fab Freebie: Book Worms Rejoice

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. She believes “all good book nerds have them in all parts of the house!”). Congrats Melissa!

Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. So in addition to a signed copy of our new book, you’ll also be getting copies of the following (marked with an asterisk when signed!):

  • PRIZE: Copies of all of the books shown above, including signatures from us, Gretchen Rubin, Abby Larson, the Novogratzes, and Ana White!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “BOOK ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what special place in your home do you keep your favorite books? Do they get a prime spot on your coffee table? Or do you have a large collection of faves that fill a bookcase somewhere? Maybe your top pick at the moment just lives cozily on your night table?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Nov 7th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible – more on that here)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info.

    BOOK ME!!!

I have a nice spot under our coffe table, but these awesome books would get a space on top of the table. ;-)

  2. Kelly says

    Book Me!

Instead of doing a formal sitting room, we opted to create a library with comfy chairs and a wall of bookcases.

Ahhhhh I’m the first one to comment on this!!! How exciting!

BOOK ME!!!! I loooooove to read and I’m a architectural design major. This is right up my alley!

My favorite book, Gone With the Wind, is usually in my bag. I carry it almost every where, even if I’m reading something else. It’s good for reading on short trips because I can just pick it up, read a short passage and be cut off in the middle without any worry!

    Book me!
I keep all my favorite books on an end table in the living room, though there’s usually a pile waiting to be read (or re-read) on my night stand or on the floor by my bed.

  5. Anneliese says

    Book me!!

My decorating books are either on my nightstand or on the center table in our study/library.

  6. Katie S. says

Book ME!!! My favorite books either travel with me via Kindle or stay in a little cozy bookcase next to my bed.

  7. Jodi says

    BOOK ME!

I keep mine organized by category in some pretty cool open bookshelves I picked up from Big Lots for $99 each. They look like they are built into the wall!

  8. Jenna says

    BOOK ME!

I have a very rambunctious toddler who just loves to destroy books so we have to keep them in a book shelf in our bedroom, or up high!

  9. Jen G. says

BOOK ME! They’re scattered throughout my home, on my computer, pretty much any free space. Every discretionary dollar goes to books :-)

  10. says

    Book Me!

I keep them on my coffee table so I have easy access to them! I am a book lover, it might be turning into an unhealthy obsession, I am running out of shelf space!
