We are about to move and this would be awesome to win! Our luckiest house moment was when our contracter was able to find an extra box of hardwood floor boards from the same lot that ours came from to replace some damaged boards before we listed our house. Can’t even tell there was a fix!

My luckiest moment is not that thrilling, but… I found the perfect curtains at Target & found out they weren’t in stock in all the stores in that area. I went to another Target a few days later and found them. A couple days later, Lowe’s was having a huge curtain rod clearance.

I got pretty lucky after a two part bidding “war” of sorts for my new townhome. At first I lost out… then two weeks later my realtor came back to me and asked if I was still interested when the other people’s financing fell through!! I got a great deal that I was lucky to find!

Our luckiest home improvement project actually happened while we were renovating our house (quite a project to take on while planning a wedding…but you know all about that!) I had DREAMED of a big corner jetted tub (we were building a new bathroom from the studs up) but we just weren’t going to be able to afford one. I was accepting of the fact that we would have a standard tub/shower combo and was just enjoying putting a home together. I came home from work a couple weeks before the wedding and what do I see? My hubby-to-be found the exact tub I wanted on sale at Menards and surprised me with it! What a guy. :o)

I went to an open house back in February, we made an offer the next day and 4 days after it went on the market, our offer was accepted. We feel so lucky to have found this house, as it was priced lower than it should as the owners are relocating from Massachusetts to Arizona. We get the keys August 5th! (did I mention they recently redid the entire kitchen, crazy right??):)

I did find the PERFECT piece of furniture to display my vintage Pyrex collection at a cruddy little flea market on Saturday, but didn’t have enough cash on hand to walk away with it. My jossest find was an old orange couch that I picked up for $25 at a garage sale right down the street. It was an antique couch covered with this orange carpet stuff. I also picked up an ottoman to go with it and plan on recovering them both one day!

Joss Me!!!!! My luckiest moment was when yard saling i found not one but two FREE 1950’s filing cabnets with the shallow drawers not the big ones. I slaped a little pink ( my fav color) paint on them with cute labels in the label holders on each drawer and they are now bed side tables. His and hers drawers for socks and under garmets :)

My luckiest diy moment was finding a miracle scrub brush that removed the grout from tops of tiles before I learned how to properly wipe grout when grouting.. without it we’d have had to re-tile the entire bathroom!
