Fab Freebie: ‘Tis Z Season

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

After another entry-limit-reachin’ giveaway, we’ve closed things off at 10,000 comments and random.org has selected our winner as… Nicole is STL (who’s looking forward to holiday time off for relaxing with family and friends). Congrats!

Since you guys seemed to like the $500 (holla!) prize last week, why not do it again today? This time the half-G of goodness is courtesy of Z Gallerie, whose penchant for sparkle and white ceramics is appreciated by us all year round… but even more so during the holidays. You can hit up their holiday section (or any section really) for loads of silver, gold, and ruby red to glitz up your tabletop, pimp out your tree, or stuff those stockings like crazy.

ZGallerie Giveaway

  • PRIZE: $500 to Z Gallerie!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GALLERIE ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …what part of the holiday season you’re looking forward to most. Is it the lights and decorations? The food and family? The music? The time away from work? Or the presents?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, November 16th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States of America (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Z Gallerie.

Gallerie Me! I’m looking forward to the Christmas music (my most favorite part of the holidays by far!). They evoke happy memories of Christmas past and remind me of all I have to be grateful for. As a matter of fact two radio stations here in Newport News started playing them around the clock this past weekend and it will continue through Christmas.

I love me some Harry Connick Jr (yes I just admitted that) Christmas music. I love White Christmas & A Christmas Story marathons. I love National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and even “The Holiday” (yep I just admitted that last one too but I fall in love with my fake holiday boyfriend, Jude Law- yes my husband knows- every year because of this movie.) I know that last one is a cheesy one, but sometimes, and especially around this time of year- those are the BEST ones!

We are visiting my husbands parents but my family will also be on a Disneyland vacation at the same time so we also get to hang out with them! (and not to mention act like kids waiting in line to ride Space Mountain!!) The stars happened to align this year and for that we are very grateful. Two familes with one stone :)

My dad and I get up at the crack of dawn to hoard things like cheap batteries from the home store..luxury pillows from the department store and great deals on 20 pc Pyrex dishware at Target. Okay, I love Christmas because it’s always magical… Time spent together, laughing, playing cheesy old music that’s been played so much it’s warble-y, and staying in our PJ’s all day lounging around and of course eating (and preparing) homemade delicious foods.

Nothing beats watching my son’s pure joy during the holidays. He enjoys family gatherings, driving around and looking at “twinkle lights,” sharing his thoughts about santa, and taking over decorating our own home for Christmas. He makes the holidays incredibly fun.
