Fab Freebie: ‘Tis Z Season

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

After another entry-limit-reachin’ giveaway, we’ve closed things off at 10,000 comments and random.org has selected our winner as… Nicole is STL (who’s looking forward to holiday time off for relaxing with family and friends). Congrats!

Since you guys seemed to like the $500 (holla!) prize last week, why not do it again today? This time the half-G of goodness is courtesy of Z Gallerie, whose penchant for sparkle and white ceramics is appreciated by us all year round… but even more so during the holidays. You can hit up their holiday section (or any section really) for loads of silver, gold, and ruby red to glitz up your tabletop, pimp out your tree, or stuff those stockings like crazy.

ZGallerie Giveaway

  • PRIZE: $500 to Z Gallerie!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GALLERIE ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …what part of the holiday season you’re looking forward to most. Is it the lights and decorations? The food and family? The music? The time away from work? Or the presents?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, November 16th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States of America (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Z Gallerie.

Gallerie Me! Our babies are 2&3 this year, so I’m so excited to prepare for Christmas with them, do some fun cooking and (easy) crafts, and of course, see their faces on Christmas morning!

Picking one favorite part of the holidays is almost impossible. I did read the new Martha Stewart Living cover to cover last night though and I got extra excited for decorating our new apartment, throwing a holiday cocktail party and cooking big meals for friends and family. Thanks Martha (& John and Sherry)!!

“GALLERIE ME!” I always love Christmas but I am really looking forward to it more than ever this year for some reason – from the decorating to the time with family. Normally I’m a mid-December Christmas decorating kind of person but this year I am having to restrain myself from putting up my decorations before Thanksgiving :-)

The first thing I’m excited for is Black Friday…I love going to midnight (or 10, or 11pm) door busters…Even if I only get a few things, the excitement is such a rush…

After that I can’t wait for all the kiddies in my family (my daughter included) to open their gifts!! Sooooo fun and they all really “get” Christmas this year!

My favorite is when we decorate with candle-shaped lights in every window. I love coming home after work; pulling into the driveway to see the house illuminated. Especially, during those weeks when it’s just so dark. AND my husband’s family has a tradition of leaving the decorations up through the Epiphany (when our first daughter was born. aaaaawwww) on January 6th… so I get to enjoy them even a little bit longer than most!

I love the new traditions my husband and I have started, including celebrating Christmas on 3 days! (One of the upsides to having divorced parents!) And this year, we have our daughter to add to the mix. Can’t wait to experience her first Christmas.

There is just something so awesomely festive about Christmas lights. I would probably have them up year round were it socially acceptable! I can’t wait to deck the halls, the railings, the garlands, and trees with twinkling little lights… :)
