Fab Freebie: ‘Tis Z Season

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

After another entry-limit-reachin’ giveaway, we’ve closed things off at 10,000 comments and random.org has selected our winner as… Nicole is STL (who’s looking forward to holiday time off for relaxing with family and friends). Congrats!

Since you guys seemed to like the $500 (holla!) prize last week, why not do it again today? This time the half-G of goodness is courtesy of Z Gallerie, whose penchant for sparkle and white ceramics is appreciated by us all year round… but even more so during the holidays. You can hit up their holiday section (or any section really) for loads of silver, gold, and ruby red to glitz up your tabletop, pimp out your tree, or stuff those stockings like crazy.

ZGallerie Giveaway

  • PRIZE: $500 to Z Gallerie!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GALLERIE ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …what part of the holiday season you’re looking forward to most. Is it the lights and decorations? The food and family? The music? The time away from work? Or the presents?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, November 16th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States of America (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Z Gallerie.

I am looking forward to visiting my parents in their new house over the holidays–they are moving in a few weeks and will be within a few hours drive of us. We are thrilled since they are currently 1000+ miles away. I’ve also never visited that part of the country, so it will be nice to get to know a new place that we’ll be visiting regularly.

Gallerie Me! I look forward to the lights and decorations the most. Every year when visiting my in-laws we go out on a couple of nights and drive around admiring all the decorated houses/yards and then cap off the evening by stopping for peppermint ice cream sundaes. Every one of my family members send pics or videos of their own houses/yards decorated for the rest to see – it helps keep us connected at this special time of year.

GALLERIE ME!I think I look the most forward to the holiday decorations. I don’t have a big family and we see each other at least once a week, so holidays are really no different in that regard. The decorations however, that’s a big change. Just looking at decorations puts me in a different frame of mind and relaxes me. I love wandering around stores and malls that decorate for Christmas. Another favorite, to wander through local flower shops to see their over-the-top decorations. I started out with just one Christmas tree when I first got out on my own 17 yrs ago. I keep adding trees and decorations. :-) Currently, I’m up to 4 trees over 6′ (1 for the kids to decorate with things they’ve made; 1 in blue & white snowmen & snowflakes since I live in FL and don’t see real snow; 1 in burgundy & silver; and 1 that kinda has a candy land meets the cat in the hat theme going on). Just sitting and looking at holiday decorations calms me in a way that is hard to explain. Suffering from adult add, there are not too many things that I have found that calm me as much as looking at Christmas decorations. :-)

My favorite part of Christmas is watching my favorite Christmas moives! I am a sap for the oldies but goodies like It’s a Wonderful Life, and the original Miracle on 34th Street, must be in Black and White! My favorite however is the musical White Christmas with Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, and Danny Kaye! I’m a big musical dork!
This year my husband and I have decided to add some of the funnier off kilter Christmas movies to our cuddle up Christmas movie time. Think Gremlins and Bad Santa! If course Elf is also a must watch! It gets funnier every time I watch it! Can’t wait!

Gallerie me! I am most looking forward to decorating this Christmas! We live in a country that does not celebrate Christmas, so the break of Christmas commercialism has been great as it has always been the reason I haven’t loved the season. Last year and again this year, we are forced to create and purposefully seek out, unique decorations. From our Christmas tree, to our ornaments and gifts. It has been a blessing!
