Today’s moving day (wahoooooo!) so we thought we’d slap up this week’s giveaway this morning to tide you over until we have a moment to post some house-related updates. Oh yeah, and it just happens to be the biggest giveaway we’ve ever done. By a long shot.
So I’ll get to the point. It was almost exactly one year ago that I first used a wet saw. It was love at first site, er, cut. And today we’re sharing the love, thanks to some help from The Tile Shop. And boy is it a lot of love to share. $3000 worth of love to be exact.

In fact, a lot of stuff for our bathroom remodel last year was purchased there (or borrowed from my dad, who had purchased it there). TILE ME! We just moved into my grandmother’s house, and we are slowly making plans for a total reno. As far as our current tile goes, think grandmotherly flower printed tile for the kitchen back splash and the well known 1950’s pink tiled bathroom! What do we want? We’re loving clean and crisp…Perhaps all white subway tile in the bathroom with an accent of the sea green spa glass tile. Not sure about the kitchen yet, but boy would this win get us started! TILE ME!!!!!!! I’m still in post-Hurricane Katrina renovations and I would LOOVE to do my kitchen backsplash in 1 inch slate mosaic tiles to match the fireplace hearth my hubby built from scratch!!!!

I am having a hard time deciding on one style. I like italian terrazo for some texture on the ranch kitchen/dining room floors. I also like a traditional basketweave marble floor for the bathrooms and square or subway tiles for the bath surround.
