Please! After much neglect due to long term unemployment and now long tern under-employment my list is crazy long and crazy expensive – debt here I come! I have to replace my entire HVAC system (it’s 24 years old!), remove and replace 15 year old carpeting, repaint the interior and oh yeah deal with a major water leak that was undetected but had rotted out part of the floor/part of the ceiling in a half bath once we pulled some wallpaper and a light fixture down. Yah me!

I WILL be done redoing my kitchen cabinets before school starts in 2 weeks, so I’ll have to find some little project to keep me occupied this fall. I think perhaps building a set of bookshelves for my bedroom will be in order. Or painting the ceilings in our living & dining rooms.

I am so excited for the holidays this year I could burst. Our daughter is turning 1 years old in a few days and she is so excited to play with paper and ribbon and I can’t wait to see her interact with family this year instead of just watching. I recently quit my job and since I am a huge fan of Thanksgiving and Christmas I can’t wait to decorate!
