My husband and I are working hard get the patches in our yard filled up with luscious grass. Last summer, we completed a paver patio, and it left our yard looking a bit like a construction site. We started this past weekend, and we are excited to get going on it. For the Crate & Barrel card though, I would definitely be sprucing up my living room. :-)

It’s hard to think about later this year as my home was damaged by a tornado in May. Right now I am focused on new roof, windows, siding, ceilings, walls, paint, floors refinished, OH MY! But really I do keep thinking about moving back home and decorating my mantle for fall (got some fun new lanterns on clearance at Lowe’s and am hitting them with the ORB spray paint in honor of Sherry) then breaking out my fun new Christmas decorations I bought on clearance from C & B and then my winter mantlescape for post Christmas let down. Apparently I just want my house fixed so I can decorate my mantle. :)

Build a small deck off our sliding glass doors! Also, we want to pour our own concrete firebowl and have it plumbed for gas out in the backyard. Luckily, our weather allows for a very long outdoor living season — the firebowl would be perfect!

Realistically, this fall and winter may be a wash, with a new baby showing up in mid-October.
Optimistically, I would like to replace the interior doors on the main floor of our house this winter (ugly, flat, hollow core doors, with holes and warping from rowdy renters); make my 3 year olds room more preschooler friendly with some moving around and new artwork; and finally, switch out the 5ish light fixtures that I need to change out.
