We want to paint our knotty pine paneling, fix some shoddy ceiling work in the kitchen, take down a huge tree in the backyard (so it won’t fall on our house and cause the need for more home improvements), and paint the whole exterior of the house…a little much in my book but I think we can get it done before it gets too cold outside.

TALK TO ME… house projects that will hopefully be done by the end of this year: paint all of the trim and doors white (it’s only been two years since we were supposed to start that…), redo the guest bedroom so it looks less like a collection of hand-me-downs and more cohesive and relaxing, repaint the guest bathroom, and xeriscaping the front and back yards (this Texas drought has just been a nightmare).
Oh and spray painting the 70’s brown vinyl on my vintage armchairs white! I’ll be honest, that’s probably the one I’m most excited about.
