I am about to move into my first apartment across the street from my college (Cal State Northridge). I recently bought some adorable furniture off Craigslist (http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/fuo/2540943186.html) and actually found your blog when I did a search for painting tutorials! :]
So that’s my project! Turning this scratched and well-used furniture into my very own shabby-chic bedroom.
I also blame you guys for the intense DIY craze that’s taken hold of me, and I stayed up half the night being awed by things like backing a bookshelf with fabric or making your own chandeliers!

My actual house home improvement project for fall/winter is painting bedrooms, office, and bathrooms. However, what I REALLY want to do this fall/winter is redo the living quarters of my horse trailer! Right now, it is in shambles from the previous owner, but I have some great ideas to make it work for me and my little boy! This would be wonderful for either project!

TALK TO ME! This is an easy answer. My neighborhood and house were hit by a tornado this past June. So this upcoming fall I will be replacing siding, storm doors, exterior lights, etc and re-doing our entire front yard which is now treeless and a total mess. Crate and Barrell is a fav store of mine…can think of many ways to spend $500!!
