We just moved to a new place in Richmond 2 weeks ago, so we’re tackling lots of projects that are temporary or portable. Up on the list is to build valances for the bedroom windows (the windows go ALL the way to the ceiling, making curtain rods look funk-ay), in addition to raising up our bed with something functional, but interesting, for some extra storage space! (Ikea pilgrimage anyone???)

I’m nesting like crazy anticipating the birth of our third child. So far, we’ve:
1. repainted our half bath and installed new hardware
2. had my husband install a french drain out back
3. replaced light fixtures
4. rearranged furniture
5. husband built a bar in the basement (well, it’s not all about the nesting…)
