After I get back from a week vacation in California in September, I am stripping wallpaper in the last two rooms of the house- woohoo! Painting to follow after that, new curtains in living room, new decor in bedroom. Then sometime this fall before it gets too cold, I’ll work on slowly stripping and scraping the paint in our sunroom and work on attic storage organization! So excited to get the house finally the way I want it :)

Talk to me!! I need to finally paint the laundry room which I taped off and primed, oh, almost THREE YEARS AGO! Seriously. I am scared to try and take the painters tape off at this point, it might have become permanently affixed by now. Living in an apartment doesn’t give me a ton of options for REALLY fun projects, but my mom is currently sewing a new quilt for our bedroom. We have been working on finding lamps, curtains, and sheets that will compliment the quilt nicely. So excited for the final product!

We’re still saving and scrounging, but we are also planning on decorating our living room. So far all that’s in there is a sofa, loveseat, and tables. We still need to decorate! We need to get some plants in the ground this fall. We’re also refurbishing the basement, and we need to re-face the giant wall o’ brick fireplace, get new carpet, get baseboard moulding, paint, get new light fixtures, and replace furniture.
It might just be cheaper to move.
