My fiance and I have two major projects ahead of us 1) re-do our only bathroom in the house. We snagged some white subway tile, but we know have a lot of other stuff to get! 2) Rehab the kitchen- while we have nice stainless steel appliances, our cabinetry, sink and everything else has GOT TO GO! We also want to repaint all the rooms in the house. Since we are getting married next fall, we’re on a budget! This would help out tremendously!

There’s a few projects going on in my house. My husband and I want to finish re-finishing the basement (it had ugly, thin, falling apart paneling before), and many other small projects! But that basement is #1.

TALK TO ME! I’m currently redoing our entire Brooklyn (rental) apartment, which we scored for a great deal, but knew we had to do a bunch of work to make it beautiful. After two months, everything is painted (many of the colors were inspired by Young House Love…thanks!), and all we have left is the bedroom. I would definitely use this to make our bedroom the best room in the house!

We are in the middle of remodeling our basement bathroom and laundry room-fixing the previous owner’s “flip-gone-wrong”… And still sealing up the remnants of the tree that fell on our house last August! (The roof, gutters, and brick outside were fixed, but we have to finish fixing the ceiling of the bedroom where it hit). And if there’s time this fall, we have some major landscaping to do: pulling up a cracked slab and enlarging the patio, as well as increasing my garden space :)

Would love to redo counter tops & backsplash, but it’s not in the budget. Wish list includes new carpet in the hallway & basement, finishing trim & baseboards & way down the line….a new living room! Our furniture is all hand-me-downs, so I would love to get new furniture, rug, window treatments & accessories. Sigh. So much to do, so little money!
