We don’t necessarily have any big projects planned, but we have an abundance of Christmas decorations I’d like to pare down. It’s getting out of control! We’re talking almost Griswoldian proportions, here. Other than that, the bedroom carpet needs to go.

We just had our second child and need to sell our house that we’ve lovingly (with lots of blood, sweat & tears, of course!) renovated from top to bottom. But, we are DIY’ers to the core so our next house will be our next project (assuming we can sell our house, that is!) :)

We need to clean out our gutters before the leaves start falling again! We also plan on killing the weeds and digging them out so come early spring we have a fresh clean slate to work with. Our vegetable garden has almost run it’s course for the year so that will need to be cleaned out soon. Inside we need to finish some purging. The guest room needs to be cleaned out and readied for when our niece comes home from St. Jude since we have been promising her a sleep over. Our final project involves finding a better arrangement for our dogs’ crates and water bowl. We have two hound dogs that live primarily inside and we are constantly getting in each other’s way!

Oh, this fall…
We’ve been in our house not quite 8 months, and we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on our Whole House Makeover!! As I type, Hubby and I are putting down underlayment in our master bedroom for the new laminate wood floor we’ve already laid in most of the rest of the first floor.
After this, we move on to the kitchen. We will be painting the walls, painting the cabinets, replacing the linoleum for the matching laminate in the rest of the house, and building a mud-room area for shoe/coat removal near the back door in the kitchen. Hubby will also be building me a desk and a twin bed for our toddler.
Then we will have our upstairs bonus room recarpeted and move our (just repainted) guest room up there (and repaint up there) so that we can spend next spring redecoraring the 3rd downstairs bedroom for Baby #2 that we just recently found out is on the way!!
Wish us luck!! :) and hopefully pick us for this awesome gift card so we can add some beautiful C&B to our home!!
