Fab Freebie: Pick Your (P)age

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

First off, thanks for all of the birthday wishes everyone. Second, random.org has selected our winner as… Lee (who just turned 31 and is so far happy with it). That’s good news for us too, since we’re both staring down at 31 now. Congrats Lee!

Guess what today is? Sherry’s 30th birthday! And to celebrate, Crate & Barrel is gonna give one of you a Benjamin to spend for every decade that Sherry’s been alive (that’s $300 in case your math skills are in a post-lunch slump). And that’s not the only thing Crate & Barrel is giving away these days. They’re also in the midst of their Pick Your Page sweepstakes where one winner will score all of the items featured in any spread from their new Spring catalog. That could earn you up to $15,000 worth of crate-y, barrel-y goodness! So feel free to pop over there to get in on that giveaway too.

Crate Barrel Pick Your Page

  • PRIZE: A $300 gift card to Crate & Barrel
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “AGE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could pick your age, what would you magically like to return to (or travel to the future for)? Would you love to be 11 again? Or would you give anything to relive your early 20s? Maybe you just can’t wait to settle into a relaxing retired life in your 60s or 70s?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 21st at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Crate & Barrel.

I’d like to be 16-18 again. I had the best of friends, my whole life was ahead of me, and I just loved being in high school in general (I know, I’m one of the few!).

I agree, 30 is pretty good. I’d also relive 7 and 17. Honestly, right now (41) is pretty great, too. It’s all in how you wear it. Enjoy your day!

I’m really enjoying life just the way it is now. Each year has its own ups and downs, but in general, every five years is an improvement on the previous five years.

I turn 30 too, on Thursday, and even though it’s a little unsettling, I don’t think I’d ever like to go back in years so maybe I’ll say 40? Why not.

    AGE ME!

Nine was the best; I was in third grade, which was old enough to be learning cool things and still young enough not to have large projects. After school and summers consisted of voraciously reading, riding bikes, playing basketball, and building forts in the fields behind my house. There was also plenty of lemonade and frank and weenies.

    Man, those were the days!

PS – Happy Birthday! Hope you guys have a blast celebrating.

Happy Birthday Sherry! I turned 30 in January and so far I really like being 30 and wouldn’t want to be any other age. Now, I would LOVE to have my body from my early 20’s or even the one from before baby #1 (baby #2 arrives in May) but I guess that’s something I can work toward at 30! :-)

    AGE ME!!!

I think I’d like to relive my college years. Although I’m barely out, I stressed WAY too much and should have enjoyed myself a little more per this quote:

“You have four years to be irresponsible here. Relax. Work is for people with jobs. You’ll never remember class time, but you’ll remember time you wasted hanging out with your friends. So, stay out late. Go out on a Tuesday with your friends when you have a paper due Wednesday. Spend money you don’t have. Drink ’til sunrise. The work never ends, but college does…” -Tom Petty

AGE ME…I think I’d like to be in high school again. Not because it was particularly fun the first time around, but to take some chances. I was a good kid, not a risk-taker, always followed the rules. Now I regret a bit not shaking it up and doing some of that dumb stuff you’re supposed to do when you’re young! ;-)

Thanks for the contest, YHL & c&b.
