Fab Freebie: Pick Your (P)age

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

First off, thanks for all of the birthday wishes everyone. Second, random.org has selected our winner as… Lee (who just turned 31 and is so far happy with it). That’s good news for us too, since we’re both staring down at 31 now. Congrats Lee!

Guess what today is? Sherry’s 30th birthday! And to celebrate, Crate & Barrel is gonna give one of you a Benjamin to spend for every decade that Sherry’s been alive (that’s $300 in case your math skills are in a post-lunch slump). And that’s not the only thing Crate & Barrel is giving away these days. They’re also in the midst of their Pick Your Page sweepstakes where one winner will score all of the items featured in any spread from their new Spring catalog. That could earn you up to $15,000 worth of crate-y, barrel-y goodness! So feel free to pop over there to get in on that giveaway too.

Crate Barrel Pick Your Page

  • PRIZE: A $300 gift card to Crate & Barrel
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “AGE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could pick your age, what would you magically like to return to (or travel to the future for)? Would you love to be 11 again? Or would you give anything to relive your early 20s? Maybe you just can’t wait to settle into a relaxing retired life in your 60s or 70s?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 21st at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Crate & Barrel.

AGE ME! I like right now (34) for my mental/emotional state, but if I could travel back to my pre-babies 26 year old physique, I’d be pretty happy.

AGE ME! I would love to be 26 again! I was old enough to be mature (well, sort of) but still young enough to dream up different ideas for what I might do with my life :)

AGE ME! 17 was a really great year. No real responsibility. I could drive. And who doesn’t look HOTT at 17?? But if I weren’t 28 I wouldn’t have my 4 amazing kiddos. When it comes right down to it, I love the age I am now. I would love nothing better than freezing my entire family at their current ages.

AGE ME! I think I’d like to return to my late 20’s or early 30’s when my my kids were tots. It was a hectic but fun time and I’d love to relive it…well, most of it. Then I’d fast forward past the tweens and teens. Being able to relate on an adult level, without all the angst and drama, is pretty amazing too. Plus you find out they now appreciate their parent’s wisdom and will even admit we were right in most cases!! Validation!

I’m really happy at 40, but maybe I’d pick some time in my young childhood since there’s so much I’ve forgotten. I’d really rather I didn’t have to re-live all the years in between, though! :-)

    AGE ME

I love being 24-years-old. Ever since I was in my teens I thought 24 would be the age everything would come together–it has. Twenty-four was the year I got a job in magazine (I never thought a journalism degree would pay off), I moved in with my boyfriend of three years, and I finally learned how to balance work, relationships, and quality me-time. Hopefully I can use this prize to make our apartment come together into something really special.

Life is amazingly great. Best year of my life. I wouldn’t want to go back at all and I wouldn’t want to go forward and miss the rest of this whole year. I would, however, LOVE to skip ahead a couple of months to June 2nd so I can bypass the rest of the wedding planning that needs to be done and go straight to my wedding! Yay! Haha.
