Fab Freebie: More Than Words

This week’s pair of prizes (for a pair of winners, no less) come from two Etsy sellers who have a way with words. Namely, they turn the written word into stylish pieces for your home. The first of which, WordGarden, takes text and graphics to give simple pillows a chic European flair – from bicycles and birdcages to his and hers sets. And two of you will be scoring a pair of pillows in any size and any design.

The other half of this week’s prize comes from Everywhere We Look, who creates book page wreaths that could be right out of Anthropologie. And each of this week’s winners will get a large-sized wreath (i.e over 250 pages turned into a 21″ wreath) that’s custom made just for them.

    I’ve made cakes with words! Occasion is usually birthdays, where everyone sends me a word describing the birthday girl or guy for the cake. Adds a personal touch.

    WORD ME! I love words period. I love them on t-shirts, hair bows, pillows, towels, pictures, rugs, tattoos (well, tattoos on other people – not a tattoo girl myself)! Anything!!!!

    WORD ME! I love seeing words take the beautiful form of sign language. Which is what probably prompted me to study American Sign Language/Deaf Studies in college! :)

    WORD ME! My husband got me to love lyrics when he would pick songs to sing to me. We chose my favorite as our wedding song because it related so closely to our life!

    WORD ME! Love, Love, Love it, and all of it. Song have got to be my weakness I write them on mirrors allover the house and make little note cards for my husband all the time. He thinks I am crazy.

    I have loved to read since I was little. My love started with the Sweet Valley Twins series. haha These days, you’ll almost never catch me without a book in my purse or bag!
