Fab Freebie: From Our House To Yours

*** This giveaway is no longer accepting entries ***

This giveaway can be summed up in two words (well, one’s technically just a letter): Z Gallerie.

The fine people at the big Z.G. have been very good to us (you may remember the kind birthday present they recently sent Sherry), and now they’re about to be very good to one of you. They’ve graciously offered up not one, not two, not even just three, but FOUR pieces of their collection to one lucky reader. And we can personally vouch for each item because (here’s our favorite part) they’re all accessories that we’ve purchased for our own home. Yep, consider it your own little Young House Love starter kit of sorts. It includes:

The Large Atlantis Clam Shell (which we use as a fruit bowl in our kitchen, priced at $45)…

Img 3365

…Sherry’s cherished white Ceramic Rhino (priced at $25)…

Rhino From Zgallerie Cerami

…and two, count ’em two, Lucerne Sconces (totalling $80):

Candle Sconce Detail

That’s $150 worth of our favorite items from Z Gallerie. We had to buy ’em all (actually, I think every single one was a birthday present for Sherry at some point) but one of you is going to get them all on the house. To enter just comment on this post with the words “FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE!” by Wednesday, May 6th at 8pm EST. And while you’re there, we’d love to hear what you might consider a “signature item” in your home. Maybe something that you think is “so you” or that your friends would say is perfectly representative of your style. This giveaway is only open to US residents and only one entry per e-mail address is permitted. We’ll announce the randomly selected winner on Thursday. Good luck…

Oh, and is anyone surprised that all of the items are white? Didn’t think so…

I think the color of my kitchen walls can be considered my signature look. They are Ralph Lauren “Bitter Orange,” a wonderfully saturated orange that, surprisingly, isn’t overwhelming. I love my kitchen. It makes me happy just to be in it.

    FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE!

Entering this giveaway to give this prize to my granddaughter. She loves your blog and has recruited me to enter for her as well! Hope she wins!! My home’s signature piece would have to be my tater bin picked up from a consigmnent shop. It’s a potato and onion bin, which goes well in my cute country kitchen. It definitely screams me — I’m a country grandma just trying to keep a comfortable, lived-in home for all my kids and grandkids to come relax in.

I’ve admired all those pieces in your home! You guys have great taste. One thing in my house that I love is a stool/table that my husband’s late grandfather gave to us. He got it when he was in Japan during the war. It’s a great piece.

Just discovered this website and I can’t believe I’ve gone all this time without it. THanks for putting together and organized and beautiful site for me to avoid my work looking at!

A signiture item in my home is anything handmade. I’ve tried to make as many things as I can figure out how to- from pillows to light fixtures and can think of no other way I’d like to spend my free time.

    FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE!

It might sound silly, but I looooove my lime green and white doormat on my front porch…so much that I’ve used lime green throughout the front and back outdoor living spaces. I also have to say that my hub and I are house hunting and loved one with almost the same layout as yours (yes, we’re in the RIC too) so I LOVE seeing what potential there is!
