Fab Freebie: From Our House To Yours

*** This giveaway is no longer accepting entries ***

This giveaway can be summed up in two words (well, one’s technically just a letter): Z Gallerie.

The fine people at the big Z.G. have been very good to us (you may remember the kind birthday present they recently sent Sherry), and now they’re about to be very good to one of you. They’ve graciously offered up not one, not two, not even just three, but FOUR pieces of their collection to one lucky reader. And we can personally vouch for each item because (here’s our favorite part) they’re all accessories that we’ve purchased for our own home. Yep, consider it your own little Young House Love starter kit of sorts. It includes:

The Large Atlantis Clam Shell (which we use as a fruit bowl in our kitchen, priced at $45)…

Img 3365

…Sherry’s cherished white Ceramic Rhino (priced at $25)…

Rhino From Zgallerie Cerami

…and two, count ’em two, Lucerne Sconces (totalling $80):

Candle Sconce Detail

That’s $150 worth of our favorite items from Z Gallerie. We had to buy ’em all (actually, I think every single one was a birthday present for Sherry at some point) but one of you is going to get them all on the house. To enter just comment on this post with the words “FROM YOUR HOUSE TO MINE!” by Wednesday, May 6th at 8pm EST. And while you’re there, we’d love to hear what you might consider a “signature item” in your home. Maybe something that you think is “so you” or that your friends would say is perfectly representative of your style. This giveaway is only open to US residents and only one entry per e-mail address is permitted. We’ll announce the randomly selected winner on Thursday. Good luck…

Oh, and is anyone surprised that all of the items are white? Didn’t think so…

My signature item would be something I don’t have. Clutter! People always comment on that when they come to my house and want me to come by and help them de-clutter.

From your house to mine! My signature item(s) would be our wall art. We only hang up pictures from our travels..whether it is a picture that my husband took or a painting that we bought from an artist on the street (we got an awesome water color painting in Prague by bartering with the artist on Charles Bridge).

My signature piece would probably be my Calla Lily Prints. I just love them.

I’m so happy your comments are fixed, I was so sad that I wasn’t going to be entered.

I guess my signature is mini-bowls… I can’t help myself!! Does that count? BTW, maybe you could help me overcome my weakness and gift me with one giant (clam) bowl!

My husband said that my signature item in our home would be the colors of the wall and the way I have decorated. Cream and blue walls, dark furniture and a white kitchen. Everything have a calm sensation.

My signature items is my trashy celebrity autograph collection. It’s mostly B Horror movie stars, a few Burlesque dancers, and a couple of Cheesecake Models. My favorite one is of Dita Von Teese in a purple show-girl type of out fit. Our bathroom never looked so classy!

“From your house to mine!” Our signature item would probably be a Frank Lloyd Wright print in the living room. The colors in the print totally tie the room together and remind of me of my past job at the American Institute of Architects. :)

My signature item is my newly painted Turquoise kitchen!! Went a little bold and the color really pops with the cherry wood cabinets. The color inspiration came from a turquoise candy dish that my gramma bought in 1942 from Woolworth (remember that store!).

My signature is actually 3 pieces of Mexican pottery I got in what amounts to a little hardware store in a tiny town outside of Puerta Vallarta. I’d all but given up and was planning to go home empty-handed because I didn’t want the stuff they make for tourists…I wanted “real” Mexican pottery. These pieces were made locally and sold to be used–a plate, a squatty crock, and a larger double-handled jar with lid.
