Whether it’s googling around for a tutorial, answering comments on the go, or making a list of project materials on our phone, gadgets have definitely wormed their way into our DIY routine. So we thought one of you might enjoy being hooked up with over $700 worth of Microsoft’s newest Windows devices – a Surface RT and a Windows Phone. The Surface is like a tablet, laptop, and e-reader in one – and has fun features like a kickstand for watching movies and a spill-proof keyboard for, well, when your toddler watches movies. And the Windows Phone is equally kid-friendly since it allows you create a dedicated “Kid’s Corner” so they can play without accidentally deleting all of your emails.

WINDOWS ME! I’d love to be able to answer the entry question, but I don’t have a tablet or smart phone :-(. I love my laptop because I can store and edit lots of photos, but what I would love EVEN MORE is a portable way to snap and store photos of my kids on the go. A smartphone or tablet would be the perfect way to accomplish that!

I’m embarrased to say that what saves me is letting our toddler watch videos on the tablet during road trips. She does not like sitting in her car seat, so anything that gets us from Point A to Point B is a lifesaver!

I never thought I would love it so much but my Kindle! I stuck to the library and actual books for the longest time, insisting that I liked pages. It’s just so convenient though and easily fits in my purse! I love never being without a book!

WINDOWS ME: The most important thing my network does for me is unify everything. My budget & banking information, my social networking, my pictures, my starbucks gift card, the current book and magazine I am reading, my address book, my planner – they’re all on my phone, which syncs with my laptop. I don’t have to worry about keeping up with as many things because my technology does it for me, and I can spend that extra time loving on my family and friends!
