Whether it’s googling around for a tutorial, answering comments on the go, or making a list of project materials on our phone, gadgets have definitely wormed their way into our DIY routine. So we thought one of you might enjoy being hooked up with over $700 worth of Microsoft’s newest Windows devices – a Surface RT and a Windows Phone. The Surface is like a tablet, laptop, and e-reader in one – and has fun features like a kickstand for watching movies and a spill-proof keyboard for, well, when your toddler watches movies. And the Windows Phone is equally kid-friendly since it allows you create a dedicated “Kid’s Corner” so they can play without accidentally deleting all of your emails.

    WINDOWS ME! Ever since I made the decision to move away from my hometown, leaving all of my friends and family 3+ hours away, facebook is definitely a must to have on my phone. I can post about what I’m doing, and keep in contact with everyone. I don’t know what I would do without it!

    WINDOWS ME PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE! I’ve been dreaming of a tablet so I can get rid of my giant, clunky, old laptop. It would be so wonderful to have a tablet that fits nicely into my purse that I can use to manage my ever-growing to do list, check my calendar, email friends and family, and read my favorite blogs like YHL!

    Windows Me! I don’t have any up to date technology. This would help me get in the real world!!! I mean come on, I use a pay as you go phone!! It would be so nice to check emails and browse the internet while on the go, especially your blog!!!!!:)

    I seriously don’t know how I got around before there were maps features on phones. I use it all the time to find out where I’m going, where the closest coffee place is, all that.

    So yea, maps the most invaluable feature.

    I keep track of all my finances and goals for me and my hubby on our computer and phone. I love that it decreases the amount of mental math I mhave to do! And it decreases my pap;er clutter too.
