So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! The whole back wall of my apartment is basically wall to wall bookcases with all of my roommate’s and my books and special treasures. It’s a total focal point, and it feels justified to give our books that much attention since we love them so much!

OMG… is this a DIYer’s dream, or what?
My favorite books are ALL OVER THE PLACE. But my most, most favorite are either on the table right next to my bed (for nighttime perusing) or (this’ll sound weird) on my window ledge in my living room. I somehow haven’t put a bookshelf in there yet, so I have a stack of books on one of the windows that I don’t open up, but can see from any vantage point. The sight of the books makes me smile.

BOOK ME! I keep on my special books on one shelf on my book shelf. Your book would fit in perfectly. I’ll love it with my whole heart and soul! It’s the only shelf not crammed with books because I don’t want to be distracted by books I don’t care about. Plus, who doesn’t love a good book arrangement?! Although, I have to admit: I might have to put it in the foyer for a while on the table and show it off. “Oh, did you see?! My copy of YHL.” Hmm, that might be a pretend conversation I might have to have anyway. :)

I live in a second story apartment in an older house, and I ran out of room for a bookcase. I do, however, have a staircase that leads to nowhere (or to the locked door that leads to the downstairs apartment, depending on how you look at it), so I used that to store my books.
