So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. I love my bookshelf corner, I’ve made it a design piece to showcase them all. I am even known to use ones with covers similar to the colors of the room and use them to sit under vases, to showcase them further. People laugh when they realize why I selected it… based on color rather than preference.

BOOK ME! we are a book loving household, so we have lots of favorite books. all of my fiction lives in the beautiful built-in in the entryway of our 1908 home and the rest of our books are overflowing from the shelves they live on… there are literally piles of books in every room of our house. we are currently getting a bunch of built-ins made (not by us, we are not nearly as handy as you) so that all of our books have special places to live. i can’t wait.

As a librarian, I have many places that I have books because bookshelves are just not enough. By the bed, in the bathroom, on the coffee table and yes, on many, many bookshelves are some of the places I keep my books. Can’t wait to get your book in the mail (it’s shipping now!) and these books look great too. Would be excited to get them to add to the collection.
