So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. I keep books everywhere because I have so many. My reading/to-be-read pile lives on my nightstand, the vast majority are housed in a 6’X6′ bookcase in the living room, and the rest are scattered around the house. I’m a firm believer that books make any room more cozy and provide an injection of personality so I try to keep them scattered everywhere.

We did a huge built-in build in our living room. So we have floor to ceiling 5′-0″ bookshelves around a huge window. I love how it came out. I have organized all my books by general subject, so of course these would go with my design books! :D

I got really excited when I saw this cos I thought FINALLY, an international giveaway. Nope. How hard is it to wrangle to get a few books overseas? I’ve been reading for months and I barely remember any international giveaways. A lot of people outside North America read your blog, so maybe you should just take out the part about wrangling cos it just makes us more annoyed when we can see you rarely manage it.
