So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. I have a Master’s degree in Literacy and retired from teaching in 2010 so I have lots of favorite books in special places. My favorite children’s books are in the grandkids’ room so Hubby and I can read a story to them when they sleep over.
My cookbook collection (love them!) Is in the living room so they are handy when I need them in the kitchen.
My Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich, and James Patterson mysteries are tucked away in the loft and my creative books for decor ideas and crafts like the ones shown are in my scrapbook room/ office.
Books I’m currently reading get a place of honor by the bed!
