So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. BOOK ME! I have books on shelves and on different furniture all over my house. But that’s just because I really love the physicality of books. I guess my favorite books that are favorites because of their actual content are on a shelf in my living room that I look at while watching tv. Hmmm…what’s wrong with this picture?

they begin on my coffee table or bedside table. after a while, they are either in a bookcase, or “displayed” on a side table or whatever. and, hate to admit it, but it also depends on the color of the spine too, and if it works into whatever design i have going on.

I keep my very favorite on the nightstand. The rest are in bookcases since I have a 3 yr old and 1 yr old who would like to eat them. Okay…not the 3 yr old but the 1 yr old would. :)

I have two spots: Living room coffee table selections are forever rotating (currently: Pantone, the century in color and Amy Sedaris’ Crafts for Poor People), and on the library table a few vintage gems that are always on display (like the 1920’s Carter Girls series).
