So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. BOOK ME! Most books are stacked neatly on a bookshelf. But, there is a continuous rotation of 4-5 books that are half-read and find themselves randomly dropped throughout my apartment…guess I don’t have a great attention space. :)

We did a major purge of our book collection recently so that the only books left are books that we love, books that we reference frequently and books that we haven’t read (and want to)! All in all, well over 10 boxes of books got donated to the public library system. All our remaining books live in a beautiful antique oak bookcase in our living room.

BOOK ME! I have the most wonderful bookcase that belonged to my late husband’s grandfather. It is from a college, carved with the department name and the family that donated it. It is mahogany and has glass doors to keep everything in it dust free. I smile every time I look at it.
