Fab Freebie: Book Worms Rejoice

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. She believes “all good book nerds have them in all parts of the house!”). Congrats Melissa!

Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. So in addition to a signed copy of our new book, you’ll also be getting copies of the following (marked with an asterisk when signed!):

  • The Things That Matter by Nate Berkus
  • The Handbuilt Home by Ana White*
  • Design*Sponge at Home by Grace Bonney
  • Home by Novogratz by Robert & Cortney Novogratz*
  • Style Me Pretty Weddings by Abby Larson* (which releases next month)
  • Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin*

BookGiveawaySMP

  • PRIZE: Copies of all of the books shown above, including signatures from us, Gretchen Rubin, Abby Larson, the Novogratzes, and Ana White!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “BOOK ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what special place in your home do you keep your favorite books? Do they get a prime spot on your coffee table? Or do you have a large collection of faves that fill a bookcase somewhere? Maybe your top pick at the moment just lives cozily on your night table?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Nov 7th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible – more on that here)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info.

BOOK ME! There is not a space here without a book. An entire wall in the living room is full of books. Each bedroom has a bookcase. Even the bathrooms have books and puzzles. I love books and would LOVE to get a copy of yours!! Congrats.

Book me!!! I have so many books that my favorites just have to perch precariously in front of the less-loved children on one of my four bookshelves so they’re easily accessible.

    BOOK ME!

I have a spare room/office/”library” where the majority of our books live. The prettier ones (like the new YHL book that Amazon is delivering this week :)) get to live in the living room. And then a lot of my books live on my kindle, which moves around with me most of the time. :)

    Congratulations on the book!

BOOK ME!! I have a long bookshelf in my living room where most of my books reside but I also keep piles in most every room and generally have one or two about my person at all times. But they’re mostly fiction. I’d love to add some home style books to my collection.

    BOOK ME!!

My huge book collection takes up an entire 5 cabinets of built ins underneath our living room windows. Thankfully, the cabinets have doors so I can hide away all of my books without having clutter, or having my husband bug me to get rid of some!!! Of course the one(s) I am currently reading can be found throughout the house on end tables, nightstands, etc. the only exception is my cookbook collection, which has a bookshelf all of its own in the kitchen :)

BOOK ME! Books have always had a way of spreading themselves all over our house. Now that we’ve moved into a teeny tiny casita, the lone bookshelf is in our kitchen/dining area, but there are stacks of books in the bedroom/living area too. And a stray book or two can usually be found in the bath as well :)

We’re taking a break at our cottage in the country and decided to bring our other bookshelves out here, along with the many boxes of books we couldn’t fit into the casita. I spent a happy morning putting them all on the shelves :) It seems so much more homey now! Not sure what I’ll do once we get our house built. I might have to leave at least one bookshelf full here at the cottage!

BOOK ME! We keep books EVERYWHERE… piles and piles of book everywhere in the house. The really special ones are in our bedroom so they’re close to our bed, where we read for hours every night (no tv in our house!) so we can read them over and over again.

My husband and I are avid readers and we are also in the process of finishing our basement. We plan to build six bookcases to cover one of the walls. Then we might have enough space for all our books! Currently our favorites are in our three bookcases in our bedroom. The rest of our books are boxed up waiting for room :)

BOOK ME! I don’t keep lots of books (I go to my local library frequently), but the books I own and love live on one shelf of a bookshelf in my office. The exception to this rule are my favorite books which are on display on a sofa table in my living room. :o)
