So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. I’ve had two different sets of built-in book shelves installed in our house and oops! neither of them hold many books. Hmmmm, going to have to call them something else I guess.
Anyway, my books usually sit next to my bed waiting for the onslaught of stickie notes and dog-eared corners that will soon be coming their way.

Right now, the current books I’m reading are on my iPAD. But when I have a favorite series, I usually buy the hard cover books and keep them lined up on a shelf of our living room built-ins.
In our next house, my Husband’s “must have” is a fireplace. Mine is a spare room that I can turn into a library / office. Bookshelves and glass-fronted cabinets lining every way. Something bright, fun and modern where I can have a big cozy spot to curl up and spend some free time reading. Ah, a girl can dream. :)

Can your next freebie be a book case? i’m running out of room. I have started getting rid of the books I don’t absolutely love. There are usually three on my night stand and the rest of them are piled up in the living room and stuffed onto the library (hall) shelves.
