Fab Freebie: Book Worms Rejoice

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. She believes “all good book nerds have them in all parts of the house!”). Congrats Melissa!

Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. So in addition to a signed copy of our new book, you’ll also be getting copies of the following (marked with an asterisk when signed!):

  • The Things That Matter by Nate Berkus
  • The Handbuilt Home by Ana White*
  • Design*Sponge at Home by Grace Bonney
  • Home by Novogratz by Robert & Cortney Novogratz*
  • Style Me Pretty Weddings by Abby Larson* (which releases next month)
  • Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin*

BookGiveawaySMP

  • PRIZE: Copies of all of the books shown above, including signatures from us, Gretchen Rubin, Abby Larson, the Novogratzes, and Ana White!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “BOOK ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what special place in your home do you keep your favorite books? Do they get a prime spot on your coffee table? Or do you have a large collection of faves that fill a bookcase somewhere? Maybe your top pick at the moment just lives cozily on your night table?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Nov 7th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible – more on that here)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info.

Special books live on a special bookcase in our living room. Everything from a tiara coffee table book, to books on the Yankees, our wedding guestbook and, of course, Skippyjon Jones all co-mingle happily on those shelves!

Book me!! It’s bookshelf mania in my home, and like the uber nerd that I am, I coordinate them by color, which I think looks completely cool and also ups my nerd factor times a zillion. (I just tracked my order and I know I’m going home to your book today!! So excited!)

    Book me!

My books literally fill every single nook and cranny in my apartment. They’re used to hold up picture frames, they’re used as coasters, they’re in the kitchen, they’re on the desk, on my nightstand, in piles around each room. I love books dearly and need to find a nice way to display them all!

    BOOK ME!

My books are all through out the house! It doesn’t make them super easy to find when I need one but I love them being on display!

I have a few classics with white or blue covers stacked under our bedside lamps. it sounds a little strange but the lamps are thin and decorative and it looks lovely.
I have a bunch of kids books in my studio (baby photographer) displayed on wall hung herb racks from ikea.
A few hang out near the TV kept snug by gold mama and baby giraffe bookends.
I have a little pile of photography books near my desk with a vintage camera on top.
blablabla- i’m not sure that you would still be reading all of this! If I won these books I’d say they would have a nice little spot under our clear glass coffee table :)

    BOOK ME!

We have so many books, and we only ever buy/keep the ones we like. The ones we like best are kept in the bookshelf that’s attached to the side of the fireplace. Books and fire don’t seem like they’d go together but it’s not as dangerous as it sounds. :)

I have books everywhere. I’m a college student, so I only have current and future reads here with me. Beside a few of those, my bookshelf is full of school books. But there are tons of books at my parents house in shelves and in boxes under my bed.

I keep the books I’m currently reading on my nightstand or end table in the LR. My favorite all time books are kept as a focal point on a shelf in the hallway. Love looking at them, and visitors always stop and linger there to see what’s there. That’s where I would keep these books if I win! When I’m finished devouring them, that is. Books are home decor in this house.
