So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. BOOK ME!!! My favorite books get stacked on a plush ottoman or in the middle of the coffee table. I love to be able to see them and its interesting to see which books catch the eyes of our houseguests.

This summer I found a child sized school chair, painted & restained it and it now is my book stacking chair in the living room.

I have a travel book. I take it with me whenever I travel long distance, and I keep it in my carry-on or purse at all times. It’s my security blanket, so to speak. And it is… Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen. Yup!

BOOK ME!! I absolutely love and cherish books (and am teaching my daughters to value them as well) and would love to have these as my first “design” books! I have a lovely bookshelf that is crying out to be rid of the Pottery Barn and Room & Board catalogs I keep on display *gasp*.
I am also a HUGE fan of yours, and like you said a few blogs back, I would be one of those people that would freak out if I spotted you at Home Depot! Since I live in CA that isn’t likely to happen, so I would LOVE a little piece of the Petersik’s in my home.

Oh I LOVE books!! I dream of having an entire library in my home… someday. For now my books are wherever I can fit them. Favorites are on my coffee table. I have plans to build a built-in window-seat/bookshelf/wall-cabinet in my master bedroom for all of my books and other goodies. The cabinets are sitting in my garage, waiting for me to get on it!

We are in the process of revamping our Vegas condo, building bookshelves, light fixtures, & so much more. I love to display all my favorite books on unique shelving units & I also think a unique book is a great addition to a guest’s room. Everyone needs something to read as they fall asleep.
