Fab Freebie: Book Worms Rejoice

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. She believes “all good book nerds have them in all parts of the house!”). Congrats Melissa!

Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. So in addition to a signed copy of our new book, you’ll also be getting copies of the following (marked with an asterisk when signed!):

  • The Things That Matter by Nate Berkus
  • The Handbuilt Home by Ana White*
  • Design*Sponge at Home by Grace Bonney
  • Home by Novogratz by Robert & Cortney Novogratz*
  • Style Me Pretty Weddings by Abby Larson* (which releases next month)
  • Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin*

BookGiveawaySMP

  • PRIZE: Copies of all of the books shown above, including signatures from us, Gretchen Rubin, Abby Larson, the Novogratzes, and Ana White!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “BOOK ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what special place in your home do you keep your favorite books? Do they get a prime spot on your coffee table? Or do you have a large collection of faves that fill a bookcase somewhere? Maybe your top pick at the moment just lives cozily on your night table?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Nov 7th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible – more on that here)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info.

Book Me! I love to keep my books on my dresser. They are a nice “accessory” and are great to have close by when I want to curl up in bed with a good book!

Love leaving them on our side table too! Books are a great piece of art too!

    BOOK ME!

We love books here but my favorite are children’s book and now that I have a child, I have a reason to buy them. Hers are kept in a rain gutter bookshelf next to her bed. It doesn’t hold them all so we rotate what is out. I love going to check on her at night and seeing her asleep with a pile of books next to her. I can’t wait until she can actual read!

BOOK ME! Right now I have all my books (as an English major, I have an extensive collection) on several bookcases. Some day I’ll have a library that requires a sliding ladder to get from shelf to shelf…hey, a girl can dream.

    BOOK ME!

Right now all my special books are in boxes in the garage waiting to be unpacked from our recent move (hopefully “recent” qualifies as 2 months ago, or else I’m a huge unpacker-slacker). Lol! Normally I like a stack on my lower night stand shelf.

I was confused when I got it Saturday since it wasn’t suppose to be out yet but I’m not complaining :) Already finished reading it all and I’m gonna try some of your ideas for my new home. Thanks!

BOOK ME! My books live everywhere. The majority on 2.5 Ikea Billy bookshelves, but always some on the nightstand, and a few choice books on some small built in bookshelves on my nightstand. I have been a life long bookworm. Lately I get most books from the library or on my nook, but design books need to be the real thing, you have to thumb the pages and see the pretty photos.

    BOOK ME!!
We are a family of avid readers so there are books everywhere! I love to display books! We even recently gave away 100 books to a girl who was doing a community project for her girl scout award, she was creating libraries for homeless shelters. We also gave 60 books to an annual school used book sale. And after all that, we still have LOTS of books! :)

I usually sell my books once I’m done with them unless they are what I consider “the best of the best.” Those stay in my nightstand or get displayed on the book shelf in our family room.
