Fab Freebie: Book Worms Rejoice

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. She believes “all good book nerds have them in all parts of the house!”). Congrats Melissa!

Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. So in addition to a signed copy of our new book, you’ll also be getting copies of the following (marked with an asterisk when signed!):

  • The Things That Matter by Nate Berkus
  • The Handbuilt Home by Ana White*
  • Design*Sponge at Home by Grace Bonney
  • Home by Novogratz by Robert & Cortney Novogratz*
  • Style Me Pretty Weddings by Abby Larson* (which releases next month)
  • Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin*

BookGiveawaySMP

  • PRIZE: Copies of all of the books shown above, including signatures from us, Gretchen Rubin, Abby Larson, the Novogratzes, and Ana White!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “BOOK ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what special place in your home do you keep your favorite books? Do they get a prime spot on your coffee table? Or do you have a large collection of faves that fill a bookcase somewhere? Maybe your top pick at the moment just lives cozily on your night table?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Nov 7th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible – more on that here)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info.

BOOK ME! We have a book shelf in our study – a.k.a the room that shall not be revealed. That room is a disaster, but it’s on the list of upgrades to be covered in my newly created blog (as soon as I finish the guest room).

Couldn’t be more excited for the book!

I keep books ALL over the house – coffee table, multiple book shelves, on side tables, in the bathrooms, and even on top of the microwave! I love them as decor and as reminders of great worlds to slip a way to.

Would love to have the book — and i’ll see you in chicago!!

All our most special books are on bookshelves in our storage area right now. Unfortunately, our youngest, 18 months, is a destroyer of books (he’s even managed to tear some board books!). We’re looking forward to the day when we can put some of our favorites back on the coffee table!

My books have many homes (because I have many books…) but the ones in the living room are arranged by ROYGBIV as best I can. It’s a cheerful pop of color that stands opposite our fairly masculine grey furniture and black painted shelves.

BOOK ME!!!! I loooooove to read and I’m a architectural design major. This is right up my alley!

My favorite book, Gone With the Wind, is usually in my bag. I carry it almost every where, even if I’m reading something else. It’s good for reading on short trips because I can just pick it up, read a short passage and be cut off in the middle without any worry!

BOOK ME! Oh my goooooosh, this might be my favorite giveaway you’ve ever done. Except for the one to visit y’all in Richmond. That one was awesome :) I’m a school librarian and total book lover. We have book shelves in literally every room of the house except the bathrooms. I think my current favorite collection is the board books living in my son’s nursery. We took my childhood shelves, built by my grandfather, and re-painted them for our baby boy. Lots of stories there :)
