So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. Books are a huge part of my life. My husband and I collect signed first editions and have amassed quite a collection. We have two bookshelves dedicated solely to our signed firsts. We keep them away from direct sunlight so that the spines/covers won’t fade.

We have an awesome wall of bookshelves in our family room area. We used the IKEA cube-like shelves and stacked them to cover the entire wall. I love it and have renamed the family room the library – too bad my husband hasn’t caught on with the new name.

BOOK ME! We have 2 build in book cases in our living room and mine lives on one of them (the other holds family and friends photos and a few special trinkets). I always take off the cover when I read a book, or before I let anyone borrow them. I only started reading regularly about 4 years ago (Twilight got me hooked) so I am very protective over my books.
