So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. We are living so transitory-ily that most of the books are still boxed in my in-law’s attic untill we are closer to done moving (i’m at 18 times in the past 10 years) but we have a deep windowsill in the bedroom for the books we keep with us. and little stacks all over the house. :)

My house is so full of books. My favorite fiction books are in a bookshelf in my bedroom, so they’re there when I need a book to read before bed. All my other books are distributed between the 3 bookcases in my office, and the 3 bookcases in my husband’s office. Sometimes I need to check all three rooms to find the book I’m looking for. :)

I keep my books in a refurbished kichen cabinet. My dad and I refinished a cabinet that used to live in my grandmother’s house! It’s huge, but that’s great because I am an English teacher–I have accumulated lots of books, as you can imagine!

I’m such a book nerd! Always have been. I have shelves full in my office/guest room but my favorites live on a special shelf in the living room.
