So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. Book me! I just inherited a lovely sofa table from my parents, who have downsized their digs. It sits in front of my picture window (same height! LUCKY ME!) and aside from one lonely white ceramic bird perched on a white ceramic branch, it is BARE. What better to decorate with, than books about making a house into a home?

BOOK ME! I have several bookshelves and I try to keep my favorites or the ones with pretty covers or look more like coffee table books in small horizontal stacks scattered throughout the book shelf or on the coffee table. I love my books!

I have a ton of books from college (like art history and architecture theory) that I arrange in groupings by color and spread around the house. A little set in teals on the console or the red bound books on the hearth. I like to be able to grab one with ease if I am needing inspiration without having to travel to far !! :)
