So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. I just got y’all’s book in the mail on Saturday!! I ran to the porch when I spotted it from the mailbox haha :) My favorite books take top shelf on my bookcase, and they are lovingly arranged in order (they include Harry Potter and a few books about dogs, because I’m secretly still 12 years old. The rest are just kinda shoved on there haphazardly, but I only keep books I really like, so I must secretly love them, too.

I keep my books in a few places. I have a mint green book shelf that I inherited from the previous apartment tenants that houses the majority of them (candles on top of the book shelf, and a ouija board for good measure). The books that are on my immediate radar stay right next to my bed on my night table in a neat pile. Sometimes, when there is a book that I am really into (and one that has a particularly great cover), I’ll display it somewhere in my home for a while (like on a shelf or on the coffee table) so that I can be reminded of how great it is and to recommend it to everyone that visits.
