So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. I get so much inspiration from beautiful design books, and the ones I have are part of the decor in my living room. They are displayed in a stack with my Grandfather’s tweed driving cap sitting right on top. He was a hardware store man and he taught me so many things about tools and DIY-ing.

My books hold a dearly special place in my living room on an industrial shelve meant to be set at the kitchen of some restaurant painted with neon colors and a hint of metal in the bottom, a DIY I enjoyed greatly. My top picks pile up next to my side of the bed on a palette I attached to the wall and the books seem to be floating.
