So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. I keep my favs in my bag/diaper bag so it’s always with me and I can read it anywhere!! If it makes it into the keeps pile it ends up on a bookshelf in my Lroom or my nightstand which is a bookshelf!

I keep them on bookshelves, nightstands, piles by my bed…haha…but I do have one small bookshelf on my staircase landing where I use them as decor, and don’t just functionally store them…I like to rotate then for holidays, stack in different ways, etc. Gosh, these would be perfect!

I don’t have a lot of storage, so I keep the book I’m reading beside my bed, the ones I’ve read and have no plans to read again under my bed, and the ones I’m waiting to read or will continue to read on shelves in my closet. I know that switching to something like a Kindle would save space, but it just doesn’t have the same feeling to me. I love seeing them all lined or stacked up just waiting to be read.

I only have a few design books. They are stacked horizontally on my front entrance dresser. I did manage to wedge in a thin hardcover cat photography book from when I was around 10 years old.
