So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. I keep my favorite books on my bookshelf in the living room with pictures of my family and pets along with candles and knick-knacks like a four-leaf clover found at our reception site the day of our wedding! Only my ABSOLUTE favorites make it to the book shelf–the rest are donated to the library.

I use my pretty books all over the house to stack up, to display goodies/pictures on. Right now there are 2 on my mantel with a cream ceramic pumpkin sitting on them. In the dining room, on an antique chest, books are stacked and my daughter/son-in-law’s picture is on them. Everywhere I go in my house, I enjoy seeing the books and who they represent!!

I also have a an antique music stand that one book gets its very own special display. Books just make me happy! Full of color…ideas ans projects (which I love too!)
