So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. My favorite books don’t have a home – I send them off with a friend or my mom to circulate around. But the book(s) I’m currently reading are on the floor next to my bed – because I don’t have a nightstand – our bedroom is so tiny that I can’t find a table next to my bed without the closet door hitting it!

BOOK ME! My living room is prime book reading place, I’ve got my pretty pretty lamp and comfy chair..although these books are super colorful so I’m thinking I will put them on the coffee table as decoration also. It’s a two-fer :)

Book Me! I have all of my decorating books, (and I have well over 100) on a stone ledge in a bedroom upstairs in our old stone house. They start out on the coffee table so I can read them and look thru them for a while.

BOOK ME! A lot of our books are currently packed up so we can sell our old bookcases and buy new matching ones. We’re also hoping to buy a house, so they’ll stay packed away for a while. But I can’t wait to have more space to actually decorate!

BOOK ME! We have built-ins on either side of the fireplace in my living room, I get the top 1/3rd on each side… and my boy gets the lower 2/3rds on each side for his DVD/Bluray collection… Need to figure out this storage/space rights issue!!

BOOK ME! I am lucky enough to have massive built-in bookshelves in the living room of my rental, so all of my books live there! There is something satifying about having them all in one place. One of these days I will get around to styling them (color-coded, perhaps?) but for now they are perfectly accessible!
