Fab Freebie: Book Worms Rejoice

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. She believes “all good book nerds have them in all parts of the house!”). Congrats Melissa!

Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. So in addition to a signed copy of our new book, you’ll also be getting copies of the following (marked with an asterisk when signed!):

  • The Things That Matter by Nate Berkus
  • The Handbuilt Home by Ana White*
  • Design*Sponge at Home by Grace Bonney
  • Home by Novogratz by Robert & Cortney Novogratz*
  • Style Me Pretty Weddings by Abby Larson* (which releases next month)
  • Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin*

BookGiveawaySMP

  • PRIZE: Copies of all of the books shown above, including signatures from us, Gretchen Rubin, Abby Larson, the Novogratzes, and Ana White!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “BOOK ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what special place in your home do you keep your favorite books? Do they get a prime spot on your coffee table? Or do you have a large collection of faves that fill a bookcase somewhere? Maybe your top pick at the moment just lives cozily on your night table?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, Nov 7th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible – more on that here)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info.

That is where they normally reside however they are now in much funner places like the trunk of my car, my nightstand, my drawers, in boxes, in storage, with friends, oh and in my kindle.. i’ve scattered them about my life! :D

    BOOK ME!

We have a bookshelf overflowing with most of our books, nightstands and a coffee table that also hold books, our toddler’s books are in a “cubbie” in his room, and lined up on the hearth in the living room where he can reach them, and I have a corner bookshelf I have to climb over the arm of the couch to reach. We have books everywhere, and we love it!

Our kid books are in each of the kids’ rooms, plus the bookshelves in the living room and basement playroom. Our grown up books are tucked here and there, but most of our rather large collection is in boxes stacked in the basement. Putting up one long, continuous shelf around the perimeter of our office about 1 foot and a half below the ceiling is pretty far down our to do list. Someday…

BOOK ME!!! My current reads sit on my bedside table. And my husband, who is an IT dork, insists that I buy as many digital books as I can…so the number of actual hand-held books are dramatically decreasing in our household…. I would LOVE these books to spice up the bookshelf in my family room, though!

BOOK ME! I have yet to paint the built in bookshelf that came with the house, so books are…stacked in the corner, on the coffee table, on the side table, next to the tv, ya know, wherever they land! So unfortunately that means many are still in boxes. I feel a “dude, get on that” project coming on!

I would have LOVED a chance at winning these books, would even be prepared to pay the freight if I did. I know that you don’t owe me anything, and your giveaways are truly awesome for the folks in the US but please could you do what you can for us overseas fans too? PLEEEAAASSEE????
