So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. The book I am reading at the time always hangs out on my night stand (so I can read right before I go to bed), my favorite book (currently my signed copy of your book!) sits on the ottoman with the current month’s edition of Better Homes and Gardens, and the rest of my book friends hang out together on the bookshelves on both sides of our fireplace! We love books around here :).

Most of “my” books are from the library, but my husband’s books are housed throughout the house. We probably have a bookcase for every room. They’re not used for staging, as so many of the lovely design books provide assistance in, but for their original purpose: casing books. I’d love to add a few of my own favorite titles to the mix.

There are books in almost every room of my house, and most of them are organized by color (reds and blues in the bedroom, blacks, whites and oversized books in the kitchen, greens in the living room etc).

Book me! I just moved, so most of my books are still in boxes at my parent’s house. My new apartment is next door to a library, so I have a few library books sitting around. I have less storage in my new apartment, so I’m going to have clear out some books and think creatively on how to store my books.
And I got your book today! Can’t wait to spend time with it. I was at school for 12 hours today (math teacher= parent/teacher conferences), and still had to go pick it up at my parents house once I heard it arrived.
