So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. Oh goodness, I have books everywhere. We moved in about a year ago and still have most of them in boxes. I SOOOO miss the built-ins we had at our last house that held our library–but I guess that just means we have a DIY project in the future! :)

My books live everywhere. At last count my husband and I had over 400. There’s a library/spare bedroom upstairs, usually a half dozen books on each of our nightstands, and they cover our downstairs. In times of desperation they have become chairs, tables, and footstools. They’re all my favorites.

Well, we have SO many books– that live on our livingroom entertainment shelves, downstairs bookshelves, and my office at work has a whole wall of books. My faves are always next to the bed or sofa, or in my bag. Of course your YHL book will be in the place of honor: the coffee table!

BOOK ME! As an English Lit major, I have too many favorite books to put together in one place! However, my favorites are easy to find because all of the books are arranged by genre on the large bookcases that flank the desk in our “library”–which is just an name for an office with too many books. ;)

My favorites are on a shelf high up on our bookcase in the living room, where my kids can’t get their sticky little hands on them! A few more reside on the shelf under my nightstand, so I can flip through them whenever I want, without having to go find them.
