So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. Awesome books like this don’t get put away around here :) Our coffee table has a cutout on the bottom right side where we keep all of our eye candy books. Would love to add to the collection since most of them are restaurant related and belong to my boyfriend.

BOOK ME! I am always reading 2 or more books at the same time, plus blogs, plus the paper, plus TMZ and people.com (guilty pleasures!). I have 2 large bookcases in my office and they’re filled with medical books from school, happiness books, the classics and best-sellers. My bedside table has whichever 2 books I’m reading at the time, but I also keep an easy to pick up and put down book in my work bag for the rare lulls at work. My recipe books have a special place in a bookcase near the kitchen and my husband’s fly tying books live in his fly tying room. Oh yes, there’s a fly tying room in my house. I should post a photo sometime!

BOOK ME! I’ve worked for a library, a used book store, and a nonprofit dedicated to writers…. so I’ve collected many, many books along the way! They sprawl all over my tiny apartment: through the kitchen, on bookshelves in my living room, in stacks under my windows, and even in my bedroom. I really don’t have the space for the them, but I can’t part with them either. My favorite books are on the bottom shelf of my nightstand. :)
