So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. BOOK ME! Right now my favorite books live on my bedside table but soon I hope they will live on a beautiful new bookshelf – my very first DIY project is in the works!

BOOK ME! Right now our books are pretty scattered :) I have most of my books on the shelves around the TV and my fiancee has his books in the guest bedroom (a work in progress). But I promise these books will go on our coffee table for everyone to admire!!

i rotate my favorite design books in the living room. i keep a few “on display” on the coffee table & switch them out once in a while with the rest that i have on a nearby bookshelf. i currently have a book about classic new england architecture & “barn” decor on the coffee table because they both have some great autumn photography.

BOOK ME! I keep all my books on shelves incorporated in a TV Stand. It is a terribly unstable/junky piece from a big box store that I should have returned but couldn’t find anything else I could afford at the time. The books totally help stabilize it for a TV!

We are so bad, if we aren’t reading them they go under this old trunk we have that is missing one foot (to help hold it up!) it started off as a cute idea, “oh one stack of books will serve as the 4th leg”…and has quickly gotten out of control. Although I do have stacks of vintage books around as decoration, but I really don’t ever plan on reading a 1940’s copy of “How the United Nations Works”
