So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. The lucky worm is… Melissa (who keeps her favorite books in a bedside cabinet, a living room end table, and on a special display shelf in the family room. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. BOOK ME! Books travel around my house. Sometimes they are displayed prominently on a table top, sometimes they’re on the book shelf, sometimes the craft room, sometimes the kitchen counter or right on the couch so I make time to snuggle with them HaHa!

“BOOK ME!” Most of my books live on a bookshelf in my family room but the book I am reading goes EVERYWHERE.. the bedroom, office, my purse! I already pre ordered your book (it came today! BOOK ME!!! I <3 books with a serious passion!! I have filled every bookcase where we have lived (moved 6 times in 10 years) in record time! I keep a book with me, keep one or two on the nightstand, and have several in reserve in a special spot on the bookcase (which I consider an important piece of furniture–to be as important as a couch)

My faves are right next to my bed! Easily accessible and well loved! :) But my books migrate to the living room and other areas pretty often and I have to regularly go around the house to gather them up. Especially when they’re home design or garden books – I can never stick to one at a time!

I have a basket on the lower shelf of our coffee table where I keep current books and magazines that I might be reading right now. I don’t really have a permanent spot for any favorites though. The rest of our books are on shelves in the office.

Book me! I luuuuurve books. I have them everywhere, and when I run out of shelf space they grow from the floor like stalagmites. My top shelves, though, generally have my autographed books, usually consisting of the fantasy genre – nearly every book by Jacqueline Carey, two by Patrick Rothfuss, one each by George R.R. Martin and Carlos Ruiz Zafon and Anne Bishop… and I can’t wait to add YHL to it! :D
